This program is made possible with the assistance of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs, Cultural Affairs Council, Mayor and the Board of County Commissioners.
WHAT is ARTIST ACCESS?
The ARTIST ACCESS Grants Program provides mini-grants to Miami-Dade County based, working individual artists to take advantage of specific, professional development, skill-building opportunities to advance their work and careers. When requesting funds, an applicant should demonstrate clearly how the available opportunity will improve his/her artistic skills and abilities. Experiences such as advanced workshops, conferences, master classes, and residencies, or activities that enable the artist to acquire techniques that improve his/her ability to present a body of work, are examples of the types of requests that have successfully competed in this grants program in the past. Grant awards range from $100 to $750, depending on need and program specifics. We strongly encourage prospective applicants to call and speak with the program administrator, Mary Luft, (305) 324-4337 (or email@example.com), prior to submitting an application. The Artist Access application form and guidelines are available on-line at www.tropiculturemiami.com
