We need your assistance to get the Tigertail WordSpeak/SpeakOut spoken word team to Brave New Voices, the Olympics of spoken word poetry to Atlanta, GA, July 15-18, 2015. Our team is among the fifty teams of teens, 15-19, from all over the U.S.

Your gift helps Tigertail reach over 1000 local youth involved in WordSpeak and SpeakOut to have a life impacting learning experience and opportunities to create, imagine and achieve. By tapping into their own power and voice, teens in WordSpeak and SpeakOut learn how to be valuable citizens. This year, WordSpeak teens made deans' lists and received individual writing awards and scholarships to prestigious colleges.

Help us match a recently awarded grant from The Miami Foundation for WordSpeak. No matter the size, your gift makes a big difference.

• One full scholarship - $1,500
• One half scholarship - $750
• Round trip air transportation and housing for one teen - $300
• Transportation to rehearsals for one teen - $250
• Project supplies - $100
• Per diem for a teen at BNV - $50
